The Hit List:
As usual, the next edition will feature a large number of events and special presentations. Among them are the three that we develop below and whose protagonists are Jonathan Anderson, Virgil Abloh, and Hugo Boss.
Designer Jonathan W. Anderson has been chosen as a guest designer during Pitti Immagine Uomo. J.W. Anderson will present for the first time in Italy his men's spring/summer collection for 2018. Anderson will be added to the list of designers who previously had a guest role at the Italian fashion event such as Tim Coppens and Raf Simons.
"I am very honored with the invitation I have received to parade in Pitti Uomo. Florence, with its extraordinary beauty, will provide an extraordinary backdrop", Jonathan Anderson stated.
The American designer and DJ, Virgil Abloh has had a great success since the creation of his streetwear couture brand, Off-White in 2013. As part of the upcoming event of Pitti Uomo, the designer will organize a special event on Thursday, June 15, where he will unveil his men's collection for spring-summer 2018 and part of his female per-collection. Virgil himself commented:
"It is a great honor to present my collection for the first time in Pitti Immagine Uomo, one of the most important platforms in the world for men's fashion. My goal is to add a new chapter to this success story".
Virgil Abloh has transformed his own lifestyle into a mark of success thanks to his artistic maturity. There are no more than three or four creators with a profile like his. With his design studio in Milan, his brand includes male and female collections, as well as a collection of household objects and a series of publications offering a contemporary cultural vision.
