The Best Pop Corn Movies to look forward to in 2017
From historical dramas to superhero movies, 2017 promises to bring several interesting titles to the billboard which has long been spoken for a variety of reasons. Half of these upcoming flicks are based on superheroes that will continue to dominate the big screen for a few years, or at least that's what studies are waiting for. Get ready for a full of promising premieres this year. These are the most anticipated movies of 2017 we can’t wait to see.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
No doubt this is one of the most anticipated titles for fans of the Marvel Universe. After the first installment that surpassed all the box office expectations, volume 2 of this peculiar group of superheroes returns to the big screen in the May of 2017 under the direction of James Gunn. Now we expect the sequel, at least, to live up to it.
Fast and Furious 8
After the tragic death of Paul Walker, “Furious 7” crushed the world box office as one of the best-grossing films in film history. His success and the absence of Walker will further hamper the challenge for Fast and Furious 8, but the addition of Charlize Theron as a villain, or the son of Clint Eastwood, Scott Eastwood to the cast and strong emotions can be seen in one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the year.
Beauty and the Beast
The story of all life returns to the screens to try to surpass two referents as interesting as those filmed by Jean Cocteau in 1946 and Disney Studios in 1991. For better or for worse, this will be the role with which Emma Watson will try to leave behind the long shadow of Hermione Granger.
We already know how Emma Watson will sing in the movie. Apart from Watson, it will feature Dan Stevens as Beast and all very recreated in a real image to make it as accurate as possible to the animated success of Disney in 1991.
Alien: Covenant
The return of Ridley Scott to the alien saga (after Prometheus) promises more terror than science fiction and will feature a double character of Michael Fassbender, in a role of two characters. Michael Fassbender, James Franco, Noomi Rapace, Billy Crudup and Katherine Waterston are some of the cast's biggest names. If all goes well it will hit theaters in May 2017.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Disney returns to the charge by resurrecting one of its most successful and beloved film sagas by the public, “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Do not Tell Stories will try to recover the magic of the first installments, with Johnny Depp leading a cast that will give rise to a new generation of actors. The actor Javier Bardem will play the villain, where adventures and humor will be the predominant note. Without a doubt, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell no Tales is one of the best popcorn movies to look forward in 2017.
Transformers: The Last Knight
Michael Bay returns with his explosions and the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The fifth installment of this prolific franchise will be released in June 2017. In the cast are Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, among others.
Despicable Me 3
Despicable Me 3 is another franchise that will continue to draw juice to its fame. The premiere of this third installment based on Gru and his funny Minions is scheduled for June 29, 2017. On the contrary, some new villains and a very familiar dynamic await us.
War for the Planet of the Apes
If there is a saga that has honored its predecessors that is the new Planet of the Apes, reboot whose third delivery will be released on July 14, 2017, promising to get a little closer to that Earth dominated by monkeys. Matt Reeves is the director of this installment of the franchise. The screenplay is directed by Mark Bomback and Reeves and will star Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, and Gabriel Chavarria.
Wonder Woman
Another superhero movie arrives in the summer of 2017 and is already immersed in the shooting. But the complete cast has yet to be confirmed. There is much desire to see her alone as we saw it in Batman vs. Superman: the dawn of justice.
Spider-Man: Homecoming
The good feelings left by Tom Holland in The Avengers: Civil War, have raised the hype of this restart of the saga, in the footsteps of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in the role of Peter Parker.
Blade Runner 2049
This sequel to the cult title of 1982 will be premiered on October 6. Ridley Scott returns as the director as well as Harrison Ford in his epic role as Rick Deckard. In this new film, they add to the cast Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, and Ana de Armas.
Kong: Skull Island
Kong: Skull Island will bring you back to the big screen of King Kong where the great iconic gorilla of the cinema will interconnect you in a new cinematographic universe. Little we know today of the new adventures of King Kong, but its cast made up of Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, John C. Reilly, and Toby Kebbell is quite promising.
Justice League
One of the highlights of the fall of 2017 will be the first installment of The Justice League. The superheroes of this house will join the forces in November 17, 2017. By then we will have seen Wonder Woman on her tape so we just have to see Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
Star Wars: VIII
Star Wars is much more than a premiere, world and social event in which, incidentally, where you can see the eighth installment of the galactic saga. Rian Johnson is the director and in charge of the script of the new Star Wars episode. It will be December 15 when this chapter will arrive on the screens. To finish the year with a delivery of Star Wars seems already a custom.
