When Idris I of Morocco came to power in 788 AD, he commissioned the construction of palaces and fountains that were magnificently decorated with geometric patterns. When the French and Spanish colonised the land in the following centuries, Morocco began to incorporate floral motifs into its artworks. This boys bow tie is exquisitely inspired by Morocco's heritage.
