When King Edward died he was remembered as a bombastic, influential and an imposing figure who managed to make decisions both good and bad that shaped his country for years to come. What King Edward did was follow the trend of the monarchs at their time and instigated by Philip II of France who expelled Jews in 1182. In fact this edict remained until the middle age and just reversed in 1657 by Oliver Cromwell.
