Step by Step Guide: How To Tie A Simple Knot
Step 1 Drape the tie around your neck, with the underside facing the outwards. Place the wide end on the right and the narrow end on the left. The wide end should sit significantly lower than the narrow end.
Step 2 Cross the wide end underneath the narrow end towards the left.
Step 3 Cross it back over the narrow end towards the right.
Step 4 Fold it up through the neckloop from underneath.
Step 5 Pass it down through the loop you’ve just created in the front.
Step 6 Pull down on the wide end to fasten the knot and then slide it up towards your neck.
