The OTAA Black Friday List: Official Rules

Join the OTAA Black Friday list for early access to our Black Friday sale, one hour before it opens to everyone else, plus a chance to win a $1,000 OTAA gift card.

Joining the list is another way to enter the OTAA $1,000 Gift Card Competition, also called the OTAA Wardrobe Giveaway. There is one prize and one draw.

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve your chances. Open only to legal residents of Australia and of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, aged 18 or older. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

1. Promoter

2. Acceptance

By entering, you accept these rules, including the short-form rules shown on the entry form.

3. Promotion period

Australia (AEDT): opens 7:00PM Tuesday 3 November 2026 and closes 11:59PM Sunday 8 November 2026.
United States (ET): opens 3:00AM Tuesday 3 November 2026 and closes 7:59AM Sunday 8 November 2026.

Entries received outside this period are not accepted. Entries through the OTAA Wardrobe Giveaway page and ads close earlier, at 11:59PM AEDT Saturday 7 November 2026 (7:59AM ET Saturday 7 November 2026), as set out in that competition's rules. OTAA's computer is the official timekeeper.

4. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Australia and of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees of OTAA, their immediate family and household members, and employees of agencies connected with this promotion are not eligible.

This is the same competition as the OTAA Wardrobe Giveaway (the OTAA $1,000 Gift Card Competition at otaa.com/pages/wardrobe-giveaway): one prize, one draw. Joining the Black Friday list is another way to enter it.

5. No purchase necessary

No purchase is needed to enter or win. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning.

6. How to enter

During the promotion period, enter your email address in the OTAA Black Friday list form on otaa.com and submit it. By entering, you agree to receive marketing emails from OTAA. You can unsubscribe at any time, and your entry will still count.

One entry per person and one per email address, in total. If you enter through both the Black Friday list and the OTAA Wardrobe Giveaway, you have one entry. Duplicate, fake, automated, script-generated or bulk entries are invalid. OTAA is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or not received because of technical problems.

7. Early access

Everyone on the OTAA Black Friday list will be emailed access to OTAA's Black Friday sale about one hour before it opens to the public on Monday 9 November 2026 (AEDT). Early access is not part of the prize and does not depend on winning. Sale terms and exclusions are shown on otaa.com.

8. Prize

One prize in total, shared with the OTAA Wardrobe Giveaway: a $1,000 AUD OTAA digital gift card, usable online at otaa.com across multiple orders. Approximate value: $1,000 AUD (about $650 USD; the USD value varies with exchange rates).

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or substituted, except that OTAA may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. The prize is subject to OTAA's standard gift card terms.

9. Draw

The draw takes place at 12:00PM AEDT Tuesday 10 November 2026 (8:00PM ET Monday 9 November 2026) at OTAA, Dandenong South VIC 3175, Australia. One winner is selected at random by computer from all eligible entries received through the Black Friday list and the OTAA Wardrobe Giveaway. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

10. Winner notification and claim

The winner will be emailed within two business days of the draw. To claim the prize, the winner must reply by 11:59PM AEDT Tuesday 24 November 2026 (7:59AM ET Tuesday 24 November 2026) and confirm their eligibility. The prize is forfeited if the winner cannot be contacted, does not claim in time, is not eligible or does not comply with these rules.

11. Unclaimed prize redraw

If the prize is forfeited or unclaimed, a redraw will take place at 12:00PM AEDT Wednesday 25 November 2026 (8:00PM ET Tuesday 24 November 2026), at the same location and by the same method. The redraw winner will be emailed within two business days and must claim the prize within 14 days.

12. US winners

A US winner may be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within the claim period, and to provide information needed for tax reporting. OTAA may issue an IRS Form 1099 for the prize value. US winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on the prize.

13. Taxes

The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize in their country or state.

14. Winner announcement

The winner's first name and state will be posted on OTAA's Instagram and Facebook within seven days of the prize being claimed. Where lawful, by accepting the prize the winner allows OTAA to use their first name, state and win in promotion without further payment.

15. Disqualification

OTAA may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, enters fraudulently or misleadingly, uses more than one email address to enter more than once, or otherwise breaches these rules.

16. Changes, suspension or cancellation

If fraud, technical failure, tampering or any other cause beyond OTAA's control stops this promotion running as planned, OTAA may modify, suspend or cancel it, subject to any written direction from an Australian state or territory regulator and to applicable US law. If the promotion is cancelled, OTAA may draw the prize from eligible entries received before cancellation.

17. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, OTAA is not liable for any loss, damage or injury, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from this promotion or the use of the prize. Nothing in these rules excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

18. Social media

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Entrants release Meta from all liability. Questions or complaints should be sent to OTAA.

19. Privacy

OTAA collects your email address (and your mobile number, if you choose to give it) to run this promotion, contact the winner and send you marketing messages you have agreed to receive. You can unsubscribe at any time. Your information may be stored and processed in Australia, the United States and other countries by OTAA's service providers, including its email provider. It is handled under OTAA's Privacy Policy at otaa.com/policies/privacy-policy.

20. Governing law

These rules are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. For US entrants, this does not limit any rights under the law of your state that cannot be waived.
