How To Fold A Pyramid Fold

The Pyramid Fold is perfect for ascertaining an exotic sensibility! If you want to look like a well-travelled guy who's been to Egypt, just put the Pyramid Fold in your jacket pocket and watch people gaze in envy. It's basically a guess of ours that King Tut wore this pocket square all the time when he was supervising the construction of the pyramids. Whilst this hasn't been proven, it certainly hasn't been disproven yet. We'll wait. Have a go at folding the Pyramid Pocket Square Fold and see if you can make King Tut proud!

How To Fold a Pocket Square

The Pyramid Fold is an angular method that gives a sharp detail to your suit jacket. It's one of the most flamboyant techniques in our How To Series so it will make a perfect choice when you want to make a bold statement. It offers three prominent peaks that stand up on different angles, essentially giving the effect of one pyramid behind another.

Styling Tips

As the Pyramid Fold is very flamboyant, make sure you take into consideration the other features of your suit. If you have a bold tie, make sure your pocket square is quite plain. However, if you choose to go for a patterned pocket square, make sure the other accessories of your suit aren't too "out there". There's only room for one hero here!

Folding Tips

If you really want to emphasise the gap between the front pyramids and the back pyramid, make sure you overlap them substantially. If you don't make an obvious overlap in step four, there won't be a noticeable gap.
